BY EXPANDING THE SOFT BOTTOM SECTION OF THE LA RIVER INTO THE TAYLOR YARDS/BOWTIE PARCEL, THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY ITSELF IS ONCE AGAIN CONNECTED TO THE RIVER. PROJECTIONS FROM EACH NEIGHBORHOOD STREET INTERSECT THE RIVERS EDGE AND PROVIDE DIRECT CONNECTIONS TO A COMMUNITY RECREATIONAL RESOURCE, RIPARIAN HABITAT, AND SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES.
