Originally hand-painted in the early 19 9 0s, Ivet a’s Garden was inspired by the delicate linework typically found in 1920s Liberty pattern books. Gently cascading in the soft summer breeze, this romantic garden features trailing flowers of hibiscus, fuchsia, primrose and sweet pea. Look closely to distinguish tiny camouflaged birds gracefully nestled among the blossoming branches.

Inspired by motifs from Liberty’s Victorian pattern books, Christ abel Rose was first printed in 19 65 and remained a st aple in the Classics ranges throughout the 19 8 0s and 19 9 0s. This delicate floral design, with hints of feathered paisley shapes, boasts an elegantly scattered layout with simplified sprigs of roses, daffodils, tulips, and daisies.

Created in the early 199 0s under the direction of Pru Roskrow, who led Liberty’s textile design studio at the time, this neatly pruned bot anical evokes the precision of meticulously manicured gardens. With an almost grid-like formation, its rows of honeysuckle, pansies, lilies, and roses create the impression of a check pattern when viewed from a dist ance.

Adapted from a 194 0s archival Liberty print, Daisy Morisia is a joyous meadow, teeming with an array of springtime blooms. Pansies, poppies, geraniums, roses, sweet peas, daisies, marguerites, and geum flowers come together to create a quintessential Liberty bot anical. The design evokes a sense of romance and nost algia, capturing the timeless charm of classic English flora.

Hand-painted in soft, inky washes, Francesca Tulip was originally created in 19 8 9 and included in Liberty’s S S 19 92 seasonal Tana Lawn range. Carefully redrawn to ret ain the artwork’s delicate outlines, the design features an intricate symphony of wildflowers, including daisies and patterned Fritillaria tulips.

Drawing inspiration from a vint age Liberty design originating in 1957, Evie Stripe has been lovingly revived with a touch of modern finesse and recoloured in a variety of light and dark palettes. Its exquisite blend of delicate buds and roses, intricately woven into a directional stripe layout, imbues the pattern with a uniquely eclectic charm.

Peppered with tiny tulip-shaped flowers and leaves, Dottie Lottie presents a dense, multidirectional repeat. Originating from a 198 9 gouache artwork, this simple and vers atile bot anical is characterized by playful shapes reminiscent of collaged cutouts. A backdrop of tiny polk a dots enhances the composition, adding an extra layer of whimsical charm and dimension.

Glancing back at 1970s vint age Liberty style, this pretty posy design embodies an underst ated elegance. Soft, delicate, and airy, Valeria Mia was originally created in 1978 and features a multidirectional layout of scattered flower buds and pods. Its windswept sprigs seem to drift through the air on a balmy summer ’s day, creating a sense of sweet nost algia.

Chiming in the glistening pasture, magical bluebells serenade the dew kissed daisies as they sway amongst a magical meadowscape. Evoking scenes from children’s storybook illustrations, this playful pattern conceals mischievous pixies and tiny birds. Rivendell Day, a true Liberty herit age print with a whimsical flair, was originally created in the mid-1920s.

This almost abstract floral was inspired by the classic aesthetic of 193 0s traditional Liberty designs. Gemma Meadow, originally created in 19 85, displays a captivating t apestry of densely arranged and loosely sketched bot anical forms. Within its fluttering embrace, roses, clematis, and bell flowers ntertwine, casting interesting shadows and creating t actile surface textures.

Hand-painted for Liberty in 19 92, this densely packed bot anical is an artistic represent ation of a blossoming floral canopy. Rendered with simplified brushstrokes, a chorus of dancing pansies showcases an expressive display of colour tonalities and textures. When viewed from a dist ance, the distinct flower pet als appear to merge into a mesmerising, abstract mos aic.
