VISION FOR THE FUTURE – WHY ARE YOU THE BEST CANDIDATE?
Tweed
Only a Minns Labor Government has a plan to recruit, train, and retain skilled professionals in the Tweed by removing the public sector wages cap.
Vote [1] Craig Elliot and Labor for a fresh start for NSW. I’ll be your strong voice in a Minns Labor Government delivering for our community.
Ronald McDonald (Sustainable Australia Party)
I live in Banora Point and have been married to my wife Elizabeth for 50 years. Together we have three children and three grandchildren. I’m running for the NSW Legislative Assembly to decorrupt politics in NSW and implement sustainable solutions for our (and their) future.

BEWARE! Door knockers in your area!
Recently there has been an increase in some solar companies door knocking in our local community. These often commissioned-sellers give the renewable energy industry a bad reputation, at times employing unscrupulous selling tactics, and we for one won’t stand for it.
At SAE Group we believe knowledge is power, and we pride ourselves on delivering expert advice so that our customers can make an informed decision when it comes to choosing an energy solution.
We also understand from years of experience, that no two homes are the same, so finding the right solar solution for you and your home will not be the same as your neighbour.
If you’re considering solar, you’ll also know it’s a minefield out there, so to help you navigate your way to the right solution for you, we have to put together a few points that will help you feel confident you are making the right decision.
First things first; keep calm and get a second proposal. Some co reported they have been sold solar systems on the promise they have secured a discounted price, only to find out after the fact they have paid much more some cases consumers have reported paying thousands more for inferior products. Don’t be pushed in to signing on the spot. Investing in solar is an investment in your future and you need to be sure you are not paying through the nose for an inferior system that might not suit your energy needs.
Read between the lines; look for the gaps in the sleek sales pi salesperson sails off in to the sunset? Who can you contact should something go wrong with your system? Where is the company based? Who will install your system? Are they local? Are they accredited electrical contractors? It may feel like yo Inquisition, but remember, knowledge is power and you will quickly pick the genuine experts from the stammering salesmen.
At SAE Group we are your local experts in renewable energy solutions, servicing your area since 2010. We will be here should you ever need us, in years to come. Did you know we are also responsible for large scale design and installation of underground and overhead services among other things? Yep, we are busy futureproofing the energy needs of your community as well.
If you’re ready to take control of your energy future, and you’re looking for honest, trustworthy advice from your local energy contractor, call us today on 1300 18 20 50 for a chat, or visit www.saegroup.com.au for more information.
How? By protecting endangered species habitats, native forests and local tree canopies, reduce Australia’s waste production, action on climate change, stopping inappropriate highrise and sprawl, delivering new community infrastructure before more housing, stabilising Australia’s population size, transparent reporting of political donations and lobbying, banning political donations from big business and unions. We have more sustainable solutions in our policy platform to address Australia’s growing economic, environmental and social problems including the housing affordability crisis, overcrowded public transport, road congestion, high immigration-fuelled rapid population growth, political and property developer corruption, privatisation of key public assets, economic deindustrialisation, foreign ownership, problem gambling, an underfunded arts sector and ageism.

Importantly, Sustainable Australia Party is the only political movement to challenge the reckless political agenda of rapid growth in both resource consumption (e.g. water, energy, forests, fish stocks, etc) and population size. Instead, we prioritise growth in our health and wellbeing over business-as-usual growth in consumption and population.
As an independent community movement, after you vote 1 for Sustainable Australia Party, we ask that you decide where to direct your own preferences.
Marc Selan (Legalise Cannabis Party)
My vision for the future is to end cannabis prohibition and treat hemp like a crop, not a drug. This would assist stability in rural communities, stimulating local economies and creating employment.
The unnecessary criminalisation of 30 to 40 per cent of cannabis consumers must end in order for us to progress as a society and a culture. The Legalise Cannabis Party would establish legislation to enable adults to possess, consume and cultivate cannabis, as well as introducing legislation for the establishment of licensed cannabis social clubs. We have a sustainable option to harvest hemp instead of continuing to cut down old-growth forests. And the possibility of using hemp fibre in the production of methanol to create a sustainable cheaper energy source for NSW residents. Over the past eight years I have worked in the European cannabis sector and have seen what works and what does not. My insight, expertise and perspectives are what is needed to inject new vitality into a region still reeling from natural disaster. Hemp houses and the skilled tradesmen necessary for this particular construction could provide a boost to the local construction and primary industry in the region Any rebuilding of community and longevity should be structured around a solid base of thriving small businesses. The Legalise Cannabis Party is hoping to create real job and business opportunities for Tweed.
