Blues Arcadia booked

BLUES ARCADIA are coming to Murwillumbah.

The self-styled “finest purveyors of dirty soul” are bringing their unique, dirty-soul sound delivered with swagger, style and sensitivity to the elegant, red velvet and palm tree ambience of The Citadel.

The three-time Australian Blues Music Award winners and Australian Roots Music Award nominees are touring the country to showcase their album Now or Never.

The dynamic Brisbane five-piece band weave funk and jazz into their blues. Keyboardist player Paula Girvan brings the jazz, while the longstanding rhythm section of bassist Jeremy Klysz and drummer Casper Hall brings the funk.

Chris Harvey is a killer blues guitarist, and singer Alan Boyle sings it like he lives it, wrenching every last drop of sweat, passion and emotion from lyrics that speak to direct experience.

Blues Arcadia play The Citadel at 7.30pm on Friday, March 24. For booking please visit: events.humanitix.com/blues-arcadia
