Oversee the operations for Wagner’s Team Sports, Wagner’s Shoes for Kids, Wagner’s Runwalk, and The Athlete Foot. In 2018, I became a partner of Iron Tribe Fitness Tuscaloosa. Community Involvement: I am involved with the athletic community in sponsoring numerous sporting events for local schools and organizations, such as the annual Turkey Trot that benefits the Tuscaloosa Track Club. I also coach little league baseball and football. My wife, Meredith, and I support our sons’ school, Verner Elementary and we attend Trinity Presbyterian Church. Hobbies and Passions: I enjoy athletic events, both in attending and in coaching my sons. I love the outdoors and spending time at the family farm in Hale County. As an advocate for the running community and co-owner of Iron Tribe Tuscaloosa, I am passionate about health and fitness. Why did your go into your particular field: I grew up working for my father in the Wagner’s Shoe business and it was a logical choice after college. I enjoy the challenge of managing my own business. Providing customers with good customer service in addition to quality footwear, uniforms and athletic equipment has been a part of Wagner’s for the past 65 years. How do you hope to grow in your career : I hope to continue to evolve my business to meet the needs of our customers while providing them with a legendary shopping experience. I am grateful for the foundations my father and grandfather instilled in me and to be a blessing to our employees and the community.
