Every stroke is different, but there is a strong connection with those who have been through similar situations. Through recovery and rehabilitation, you relearn or regain basic skills: Speaking, Eating, Dressing and Walking.

Stroke recovery is a life long struggle, filled with setbacks and also, of achievements, no matter how small.

To a better health! Some of our members, find comfort in gentle exercises, like Tai Chi, which increases blood circulation, physical capabilities and well-being. Take better care of yourself!

“There’s life after stroke” That’s our motto... When you join us, Templeton Stroke Recovery, you will increase your lifestyle options. You can participate with other stroke survivors in activities designed to broaden your physical, creative side of your body. You meet people from all walks of life. Make new friends, increase your social network, and for the first time, after your stroke, enjoy yourself with other stroke survivors and our dedicated volunteers.

Set New Goals! Take on a responsibility--keep track of group activities by: taking pictures of the group, collecting coffee funds and taking orders for hot lunch. Help plan special occasions-You’ll be glad you did!

Come on out and meet us! We and our dedicated volunteers love to have you join us to see what we are doing. You can try 2 or 3 meetings to decide if you would like to become a member of Templeton Stroke Recovery. We’re known in the Stroke Recovery community!
