ABOUT THIS BOOK: Clouds in their fugitiveness have always fueled human kindâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s desire and imagination. Similarly the deep rooted wish to fly, to take to the sky has given rise to innumerable stories, films and dreams. The journey of Cloud Country traces the resurgence of a sense of wonder and discovery in the albeit distant reencounter with this planet. This photolog incidentally documents exactly one journey (from Tokyo to Paris): While observing landscapes of clouds and countries from the sky in the end the story seems to suggest locating that country of desire in that odd space of transition and impermanence.
