HISTORY TCI is a privately held company which was incorporated in 1980. Our Connecticut facilities include two 35,000 square foot buildings located just minutes away from Bradley International Airport and major highways. TCI is an FAA / EASA / CAAC approved repair station delivering high quality components to a very competitive and technologically demanding global aerospace market. We specialize in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components and accessories for commercial and military applications. TCI has significantly increased its component accessories capabilities with the addition of a new 25,000 square foot facility in Miramar, Florida. This facility, operating as TC LLC, will add hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electro-mechanical airframe component capabilities, covering both narrow and wide body aircraft. This is in addition to our existing fuel, oil and pneumatic accessory maintenance currently provided. These additional capacities and capabilities enable TCI to provide customers with the unique one-stop alternative for their repair needs. TOTAL CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT (TCI) — LEAN OPERATING SYSTEM TCI is dedicated to total continuous improvement utilizing lean processes to eliminate waste. Our team is committed to providing the highest level of quality production efficiency to support our customers. Current lean processes implemented within TCI are:
• 6s — Facility wide visual control used to manage the current cleanliness and organization of material.
• Variance Reduction — Process used to implement error-proofing methods in order to prevent defects.
• Value Stream Mapping — Technique utilized to analyze and design the flow of materials and information through TCI’s facility to bring a quality product to our customers.
• Single Minute Exchange of Dies — Method used to reduce product changeover time and decrease lot production sizes; enables TCI to improve our process flow.
• Standard Work — A detailed and documented system in which TCI employees both develop and follow a repeatable sequence of tasks within a work assignment.

PROCESS & CAPABILITIES TCI ensures that its Technical data and Processing are kept up to date to the latest O.E.M revisions available. If an additional process is required due to a manuel revision, TCI will locate a subcontractor to perform theservices required. A list of services that TCI offers can be found below:
CLEANING
CMM & BENCH INSPECTION
TCI’s facility is equipped with two clean lines that allow for the internalization of required cleaning procedures. A dedicated clean line manager is responsible for the maintenance of the clean line as well as to ensure that the parts are properly cleaned for the repair process.
TCI has full dimensional inspection capabilities utilizing Coordinate Measuring Machines throughout its facilities. This allows for a wide variety of product component dimensional inspection opportunities. Our fully trained operators have extensive working knowledge of geometric measuring and tolerance while reading and interpreting repair scopes and technical data.
COATING APPLICATIONS We have the capability to apply paint, metal spray and many other surface treatment coatings. Additionally, Turlon, which is TCI’s patented polymer coating, is utilized only when requested by our customers under D.E.R. to rebuild worn component surfaces.
MACHINE AND GRINDING TCI employs a machining team that has decades of experience. Our machinists are held to the highest industry standards, and are trained in both manual and automated machines. In-house machine programming, fixture design and fabrication help to expedite the repair process.
ACCESSORY & COMPONENT TEST CAPABILITY TCI’s accessory engineers have worked to design state of the art test equipment that allow us to complete both incoming and final tests. We are able to adapt our test equipment to support a wide range of pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, engine oil and skydrol accessories.
NON-DESTRUCTIVE INSPECTION/ TESTING All TCI NDT inspectors are fully certified in the appropriate methods to comply with all technical manual requirements. Our shop is able to handle parts of various sizes.

Our internal weld, heat treat and stress relieve capabilities open the door to a wider range of engine manual repairs and D.E.R. repairs, which we can process through our facility. We have the capability to weld engine components made from most metals utilized in aerospace products including: magnesium, titanium, aluminum, steel and nickel.

COMPONENT REPAIR At TCI, we provide MRO capabilities for a wide range of rotating and stationary components. Critical to engine performance, we complete all the necessary in-process checks to ensure OEM quality as our final result. Our strengths are working with our customers to deliver the highest quality repairs along with cost-effective solutions for their MRO needs. Our customer base is varied both globally and across platforms. We have intentionally diversified our business to cover commercial, military, and regional aircrafts as well as helicopters and the engines and components that support them. The Rotating component capability covers the following typical types:
