Camp Conshatawba
Camp Conshatawba, located in Summerhill, Cambria County, sits on 300+ acres and is an excellent place for campers of all ages to find who they are and who they want to be. While each session has a focused theme, girls will be able to participate in traditional Conshatawba camp activities that give them a well-rounded experience. Activities include: climbing tower and zip line, low ropes course, archery, arts & crafts, swimming, creek hiking, fire building, outdoor cooking, nature programming and campfires with songs, skits and s’mores! Adventure Day
Enjoy a day sampling cool camp activities like: the climbing tower, zip line, swimming and cooking over the fire! Challenge yourself on the four-sided climbing tower and enjoy the breeze as you zip down the 40-foot zip line. Enjoy a pool party in the afternoon! Birds, Butterflies and Bugs
Trek through the woods or snoop through the brook to find the coolest things living there. Create a bug catcher to gather your new critters in, make a butterfly mobile and see how many different types of birds you can hear! You’ll also enjoy great camp activities like swimming and archery! Splish Splash
Enjoy this super-soaked session of camp as you spend time exploring, splashing and discovering different parts of the creek. Try synchronized swimming and water sports in the pool, enjoy a floating lunch and have a pool party luau! Try to avoid the water bombs as you soar down the zip line after climbing the tower! Open House Saturday, June 14 1-3 p.m. On Belay
Reach for the skies while you take on climbing challenges at camp. Kick off camp by working together to overcome obstacles on the low ropes course and continue building your skills on the four-sided climbing tower. Fairies in the Woods
Bring your imagination for a fun overnight stay in a lodge at camp. Make fairy houses and your own fairy wings, and explore the woods to see if the fairies at Conshatawba leave you a magical surprise! Girls Grades: K-2 Date: June 24-25, Tues.-Wed. (1 night) Cost: $70 per girl Minimum Capacity: 5
Daisy Day
Enjoy a day of camp fun and try a variety of activities with other Girl Scout friends! Enjoy field games with a parachute, make crafts to take home, go swimming and have a cookout lunch. Girls Grades: K-1 Date: Fri., June 27, 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Cost: $25 per girl Minimum Capacity: 10
Family Rafting Stay Over Weekend
Signed up for the Lower Yough or Middle Yough Family Rafting Trip sessions and want to spend an extra night at camp? Join us for the Stay Over Weekend! Check in Friday evening at Conshatawba and meet the staff, enjoy an evening activity and have a snack before hitting the sack to rest up for your big rafting trip. Enjoy a warm, hearty breakfast Saturday morning before meeting the rest of the crew and heading out to Ohiopyle State Park. Bring your own family tent to pitch or stay in one of the platform tents or cabins. Girls Grades: 2-12 and families Dates: June 27-28, Fri.-Sat.
