Isabel Uribe’s alter ego, ALOLÓ, lives in a surrealist chamber. On her desktop you will find Man Ray’s pictures of Marchesa Cassati wearing Poiret, and the music rambles between Nick Cave and Wagner. There are also framed photographs of Loulouse de la Fallaise, reflections of Buñuel, Brancusi modernist elements and influences from the Viennese Actionism.

Genesis is ALOLÓ’s first collection, it begins by revisiting classic designs. The chain-link is the fundamental element of the collection. Working as a bridge, as a flat structure, it allows the ants to achieve their mission. They find their treasure —the stone— which made of Marquina marble and is placed on a cabochon shape that emphasizes its design. The ant, full of life, creates its own world step by step. All of the pieces are made of either sterling silver, plated in 3 micron 18k gold, rose gold, rhodium or ruthenium. Each piece is engraved with the brand’s logo.
