QUICK FACTS ABOUT FLAGSTAFF

Nestled at the base of the San Francisco Peaks at an elevation of 7,000 feet, Flagstaff features four distinctive seasons and the outdoor recreation that comes with them. Moderate summer temperatures encourage a wide array of outdoor activities, including mountain biking, hiking and running. With an average snowfall of around 260 inches per year at Arizona Snowbowl ski area, Flagstaff is also a haven for winter sports enthusiasts. Meanwhile, fall and spring are both spectacular, with shimmering golden aspen leaves and fields of blooming wildflowers.

TIME

The state of Arizona stays on Mountain Standard Time year-round. However, the Navajo Nation observes Daylight Saving Time.
