The carpark will be closed from 5pm Saturday 5th August and request that all vehicles are removed from site prior to the closure. Any vehicles left on site may need to be towed to allow works to proceed. Loose stones can be an annoyance after the seal has been placed, however this is an important part of the reseal process. It allows traffic movement to roll the loose stone in as the bitumen hardens. Line marking will be reinstated by RoadTek at a later date. For further enquiries please email: scott.ivory@portsnorth.com.au

We are looking for a Media Cadet to develop their skills and experience here with us at the Torres News.

The successful applicant must be an 18-year-old Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and be willing to live and work from Thursday Island, have enthusiasm and drive to help tell our community stories.
