Rising NRL superstars Ezra Mam and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow will face off in a Torres Strait showdown when their undefeated NRL teams the Brisbane Broncos and newcomers the Dolphins meet in a blockbuster round four match on Friday night.

The Torres Strait Islanders will be key players with Ezra to line up at five eighth for the Broncos whilst Hamiso “Hammer” will be in the fullback position.

Already the game is a sellout with more than 52,000 spectators expected pack Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.

The Broncos, Dolphins and Manly are the only undefeated teams in the comp after three rounds.

Hammer once again shone last Friday night when the Dolphins beat the Newcastle Knights 36-20 in an away game at McDonald Jones Stadium.

The Hammer has been sensational, and scored a try against the Knights.

Brenko Lee also had a great game playing at centre, where he was solid in attack and defence, and threw a precision pass to set up one of the Dolphins tries.

Knights Torres Strait islander star Dane Gagai also played well and was a problem for the Dolphins defence numerous times.

Classy Ezra scored a try and had another disallowed when the Broncos beat St George Dragons 40-18 on

Ezra’s try was one of four scored by the Broncos in the final 10 minutes as they ran away with the game.

The pace of both Ezra and Hammer will be one of the highlights of the clash which is being touted as the most popular of all NRL matches so far this season.

David Fifita part of Titans win over Storm

Rampaging forward David Fifita was part of the Titans upset 38-34 victory over the highly rated Melbourne Storm on the Gold Coast last Saturday.

David has a huge following on Badu and is one of the most dangerous forwards in the NRL.

He will have lots of support when the Titans take on the Cowboys in Townsville this weekend.

Kris stars in capital

Sebastian Kris shone for the Canberra Raiders in their 24-20 win over hot favourites the Cronulla Sharks in the national capital on Sunday.

“Seb” as he is known, clearly relished his role at fullback and was one of the Raiders best players.

This gifted sportsman was safe under the many bomb kicks directed at him and is key to the Raiders chances in coming weeks.

The big question

The big question is? Can the Hammer NAIL the Broncos.

Whatever the outcome you can be sure that Ezra and the Hammer will be having a yarn after the final siren goes.
