We would like to thank the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, Lincoln County Ambulance Service, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Vanderbilt Lifeflight, Vanderbilt Children’s Medical Center and everyone who prayed for Ella so diligently in those first hours and days, and who have continued to pray for her over the last three months. To all of the schools who took the time to make Ella cards and send her well wishes, to the staff, students, and friends at Riverside who have lifted her up in prayer and pushed her to keep working so that she may return to school with you all, thank you. To our families and friends, thank you for helping us take care of Mia, run errands, and keep our yard mowed. Most of all, thank you for making sure we knew that we were never alone, not even in our darkest hours and reminding us that God was with us each step of the way…revealing Himself to us through you. Ella has been blessed to come home to amazing friends, family, and community support. To those who have simply walked up and said hello to her or asked for a hug, thank you. Her recovery is not over, it has truly just begun as the doctors tell us that her brain will continue to heal for at least a year. We do not know where we will be in a year, but we have Ella and that is all that matters. We say thank you but it just does not seem like enough…we will forever be grateful to our amazing community for all you have done for Ella and our family. The Tullahoma Crime Stoppers Program is seeking information that will help authorities find and arrest the driver of a Hit and Run Injury Crash that occurred on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 around the time of 5:20 p.m. The crash occurred in front of 507 North Jackson Street “Pool and Spa Express” and “A-1 Cash”. A pedestrian was struck by the white car believed to be a Ford Taurus driven by a white male approximately 20-25 years of age, short “buzz” cut hairstyle, no facial hair, approximately 5’9” in height, and 170-180 pounds in weight.
