Newsletter $15,000 Fundraising Goal! To say that Truth For The World has undergone a lot of changes would be an understatement. The joke around here is that the only thing constant is change. Our budget has certainly undergone a lot of changes over the last few years, too. But the good news is we have still been able to continue our mission and even expand what we have been able to do. May God receive thanks for this! We have been reducing our budget to match more closely what we have been receiving in donations from our generous coworkers. In making up a tentative budget for what we need for 2013, we have about a $15,000 deficit for the year. In other words, if we could raise $15,000 more in regular, annual support, our income would closely match the expenses we have for accomplishing our projects and mission. Therefore, we are looking for some new coworkers to help us with our donations, or even some current coworkers who are able to increase their donations a little. It really may not be right to ask for donations without explaining a little of what we are doing with our current donations and what we hope to do with more. Allow me the brief moment to highlight what we have been able to accomplish, with God’s help, even on a declining budget in 2012. • Continue our mission of taking the Gospel around the world – Every week our shortwave, AM and FM radio hits 6 continents, our TV program goes into North America, Central America and the Philippines, and our Internet content of articles, tracts, radio, TV and more is made available to over 2 billion people around the world. Also, people come to us from around the world to take our Bible Correspondence courses, either through the mail or online. • Expanded our TV programming – Our TV has been added to People TV in Atlanta, which reaches into about 200,000 homes. We are also slated to be added to a TV station’s programming in the Republic of Palau. We have been broadcasting on the Living Faith TV network, which is broadcast over-the-air, on cable, on Dish Network and DirecTV, on Galaxy-16 satellite and via the Internet. This network goes across North America and most of Central America and is streamed live on the Internet around the world. • Expanded our podcasting outreach – Podcasting is an audio lesson that people can hear by accessing it through various places online. We have placed our audio files in websites where more people can discover and hear the truth of the Bible. • Launched a new tract “10 Questions to Ask a Mormon” – This tract, along with our TV series “Ask The Expert: Mormonism,” can help Christians learn about Mormonism and what to say to a Mormon when given the opportunity. • Published an AndroidTM application (app) – This app has been downloaded over 60 times by people from various countries and contains our articles, our tracts and even a quiz on the plan of salvation. • Seen an increase in our Bible Correspondence Course Students – The average number of people who come to us every day and request to study the Bible has increased compared to last year. At one point we saw an average of 5 people per day coming to us and voluntarily enrolling for a Bible study course. • Launched a new Bible Correspondence Course online – Our 6th Bible Correspondence Course, Survey of the New Testament, was in print but not in our online offerings. Steps of Salvation

This year we were able to add that course to our online curriculum. • Launched our first interactive, multimedia educational module – This module takes learners through the Steps of Salvation and instructs them on what they must do to be saved. With pictures, text and even quiz questions, this module allows learners to read and interact independently with the lesson and also test their knowledge of the material. The module is online at: http://truthfortheworld.org/ss-module • Expanded content on our Facebook page – There are 1 billion active Facebook users every month. We have put content on our Facebook page including our radio programs, TV programs, our podcasts, our Mission e-magazine, the Introduction lesson of our Bible Correspondence Course and even a Bible that they can read right on Facebook. People can listen to or watch our programming, read the Bible or even enroll in our Bible Correspondence Courses right through our Facebook page.

So what do we hope to do in the future? Glad you asked. • Put more of our content online – We still have more of our tracts and articles that we can put online for people to read and use. • Add more educational material – We have 6 courses for people to take, but we want to give them more. We want to do it in a rich, interactive, multimedia way that enhances learning. Our first interactive, multimedia educational module is an example of what we can do. We have already received a request for “master’s” study, so there are people who want to learn. The number of students we get now proves that. • Offer more material via cell phones – Places that don’t have as much Internet access may still have cell phones. Some Internet content can be accessed by cell phones, and information can be sent through texting. We want to reach into areas around the world that will receive our material on their cell phones even if they don’t have Internet access. $15,000 more per year breaks down to $1,250 per month. If we could divide that by 10 congregations or individuals, it would only come to $125 per month. If only 10 congregations, individuals or groups of individuals were to donate $125 per month, our fundraising goal would be met, our mission of taking the truth around the world every week will continue and our content and outreach would even expand. Thank you to those who are already donating and working with us. We want to be good stewards of what you have entrusted to us and hope that you are happy about the news shared with you. It would not be possible without you and the others around the world who help get the work done. May God be thanked that He has allowed us to work in His kingdom. If you are not already working with Truth For The World, then join us! You can help take the Gospel around the world every week and work in fulfilling the command to teach all nations.
