History of TRP 2004
TRP Polymer Solutions is established in Hereford, UK. Our objective is to design, develop, and manufacture precision moulded rubber components. Our British manufacturing roots enable us to offer outstanding customer service to customers nationwide, across Europe, and worldwide.
2005
We develop our TRPlast® range of Perfluoroelastomers (FFKM).
2007
We moved to our purpose-built 30,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Hereford, expanding our laboratory facilities to increase our material development and customer product testing capabilities. Laboratory compound mixing facilities are also added.
2008
We develop and receive approval for our PTFE-protected EPDM gaskets (2.5 m x 1.5 m) for the chlorine industry.
2010
Our factory is expanded to 40,000 square feet to increase the capacity of our moulding facilities. We commission a 3 m x 2 m press for large, one-piece gasket manufacture. We also develop our oil and gas range of FKM and FFKM materials, including Norsok-approved RGD resistant materials.
2015
We commission 1.2 m x 1.2 m x 1 m daylight presses to produce packers, waterstop seals, and large O-rings for the oil and gas industry.
2016
We expand our factory further to add extra capacity for O-ring manufacture. Additional presses are added to increase O-ring capacity, bringing the total to 44 presses ranging in size from 300 mm x 300 mm to 3 m x 2 m. We also add USP Class VI approved materials to our FFKM range.
2019
We establish our own mould manufacturing facility, providing us with the capability to produce moulds on 48-hour lead times to improve service for non-standard O-ring sizes.
2020
We add 3A sanitary approved materials to our range of FFKM compounds.
2021
We expand our toolmaking capacity with the addition of further CNC milling equipment to reduce our mould lead times to as little as 24 hours.
