SUPPORT STAFF | STAFF Tony Ferrante Associate Athletics Director

Gramley earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Troy in 1999, then spent time teaching science at Pike Liberal Arts in Troy and Dixie Academy in Louisville, Ala.

Tony Ferrante is in his 19th year working in the Athletics Department at Troy University and was promoted to Associate Athletics Director in the summer of 2014.

Following her teaching stint, she returned to Troy as a graduate assistant in the athletic training department. While there she worked on her master’s degree in education, which she earned in 2004. Gramley and her daughter, Meredith, 18, reside in Troy.

Ferrante oversees operations in the equipment and video rooms, directs event management, and serves as the facility coordinator for all athletics department venues. In addition, Ferrante works closely with the football staff coordinating team travel.

Judy Morgan Football Secretary

Ferrante, a native of Parma, Ohio, came to Troy in the fall of 1998 from Indiana University, where he served as an intern with the football team. He spent the summer of 1996 as an intern with the Baltimore Ravens. While pursuing his undergraduate degree at the University of Cincinnati, Ferrante worked as a student manager from 1995 to 1998. During this time, he worked closely with the football and baseball teams.

Mike Frigge Assistant Athletics Director Operations & Technology

Morgan’s primary responsibilities include coordinating all events for head coach Neal Brown, working with assistant coaches in their recruiting efforts and maintaining the program’s information database. She also coordinates the Trojan All-Stars, the official hostesses of the football program. A life-long resident of Pike and Coffee counties, Morgan is a graduate of Zion Chapel High School and attended Wallace Business College. Morgan entered her 20th year of employment at Troy University in Nov. 2014. She also worked in the Department of Environmental Science and the Records Office.

Mike Frigge serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Event Management, Promotions and Technology. Frigge handles all aspects of in game fan engagement, including video board content, music and on field promotions. He is the event manager for volleyball and baseball and is the secondary contact for football.

Morgan resides in Troy, Ala., and is the proud mom of a son, Michael Morgan.

Prior to his role as Assistant AD, Frigge was the football video coordinator, managing weekly highlight films, opponent film exchange and the capturing of all Troy games and practices. Frigge joined the staff after serving one year as the Director of Photo and Video at Cincinnati, where he also earned his bachelor’s degree in communications. During his undergraduate years at Cincinnati, Frigge served as a football student manager as well as a student assistant in game operations and technology for the Bearcat department of athletics. He was chosen as the 2016 Troy Athletics Staff Member of the Year by the Troy SAAC. He is also a current member of the Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA) His wife Maria currently serves as the Director of Troy Abroad for the Troy University campus. The couple has 3 boys, Daniel (8), Alex (7) and Chris (5).

Alyson Gramley Head Athletic Trainer Alyson Gramley is beginning her 13th season as an athletic trainer for Troy University and her eighth season working directly with the football program. She was promoted to head athletic trainer in December 2015.

Adam Prendergast Assistant Athletics Director / Media Relations Adam Prendergast is in fifth s­ eason as the primary media contact for the Troy football program. He was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Media Relations in the summer of 2014. Prendergast joined the Troy staff in Jan. 2012 following four and a half years as the director of media relations at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. A native of State College, Pa., ­Prendergast ­graduated from Auburn University in 2003 with a degree in mass c­ ommunications. During his undergraduate years at Auburn, he worked with Auburn’s athletics media relations department in many facets. After graduating from Auburn, Prendergast served as the sports i­nformation intern at Samford University in Birmingham, Ala., for one year. Following his stint at Samford, Prendergast began working at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala., a member of the NAIA, in the summer of 2004. Prendergast then spent two years as the assistant director of media services at Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C. He is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of ­America (CoSIDA) where he served on the Academic All-America Committee, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers ­Association and the Football Writers Association of America. Prendergast wrote feature stories for the award-winning Auburn Football Illustrated game program and the award-winning Samford Football Game ­ Program. He has been published in the Birmingham News, Birmingham PostHerald, ­Auburn-Opelika News and The Over the Mountain Journal.

She also served as the athletic trainer for the volleyball team from 2005-07 and with the football program since 2008. She worked with the men’s basketball program for 11 seasons before assuming her current role. Additionally, Gramley spent the 2006-07 academic year assigned to the Alabama Sports Medicine Outreach Program, a program that is a joint effort between Troy and Dr. James Andrews’ orthopedic group designed to assist area high schools.

Judy Morgan begins her 17th season as the administrative assistant for the Troy University football program. She has been with the athletic department for 20 years, spending her first three years as the department’s administrative secretary.

He was named the inaugural Chair of the Sun Belt Conference Sports Information Directors in the summer of 2014. He is married to the former Kelley Smith of Birmingham, Ala. The couple has two children, Ethan (6) and Emma Kate (4).
