n 1983 Hao funded his own voyage of discovery to Japan and went on to obtain two scholarships, graduating with a Masters from Musashino Art University. His extensive education means Hao possesses a creative approach not often seen in other Chinese artists. Simple and elegant, Hao’s pieces convey a graceful and tranquil mood.
The artist favours clean lines and simple abstract shapes, which are a seemingly random product of practice.
