Sleepy Eye Parent Meeting

Glencoe Center Volunteers with Glencoe Ag Committee On Tuesday, September 24, Glencoe Head Start, Child and Family Programs staff helped pack 300 buckets and 300 bags with the Glencoe Ag Committee. All the buckets and bags will be delivered to farmers in September to thank them for all their hard work!

On Thursday, September 12, the Sleepy Eye center held their parent meeting. They did a ReadyRosie training entitled “You Can Make a Difference”. Parents interacted with each other, shared ideas and answered questions in a large group. The health staff talked about first aid and answered any questions the parents had.After that, the parents had the opportunity to put a first aid kit together to take home. Center staff and parents also elected a policy council representative and an alternate at the meeting.
