SERBIAN pavilion The team of three young Serbian Architects focussed on the struggles of graduates and young architects when facing the architectural job market. Blue ground installed in the enterior of the pavilion is used as a metaphor for the inside of the ship, refering to the job search as a float in the open sea. The pile of Job Application letters collected from international sources is exhibited on the entrance representing the numerous portfolios that are being sent every day. JAPANESSE pavilion A country with the small amount of sqm trying to host all citizens, their needs and desires. The exhibition focuses on the ‘’en’’, the term that goes back to ancient Buddhism and is still used in a Japanese everyday life refering to ‘’edge’’ or ‘’margin’’. It implies an ambiguous boundary that not only surrounds multiple kinds of living spaces but makes them interrelate and interpenetrate. ‘’En’’ boundaries and the resulting interpenetrative areas encourage humans to act and to encounter each other. Each peace exhibited inside the pavilion was created with irresistible japanesse care for detail and respect to their culture. RUSSIAN pavilion A country with a rich cultural background presented VDNH- the territory of Expo during USSR which is nowadays transformed

into a city park. Pavilion reminds on the country house with its stairs, which lead to the terrace with a sea view. The black enterior is filled with treasures of USSR epoch on the ground level and contemporary ones on the first floor, drawings and books, works of students. NORDIC pavilion The architecture of the original pavilion is pointing towards harmonic blending between nature and building. Light, shadows, cool and warm wind sre supposed to enter the volume without obsticles through the roof and walls. The composition of solid and ephemeral of the original structure was for us like a therapy. With this years intervention most of the space is occupied with big wooden stair-pyramid. HOLLAND pavilion Military theme is used in a way that camouflage creates a vivid aquarium atmosphere. HUNGARIAN pavilion The continuous route around the inner atrium garden was filled with content concerning workspaces of the students. GERMAN pavilion This year you can walk into the massive tectonic german pavilion easily trought many new entrances and relax on the white plastic chairs placed inside. The walls of the german

pavillion were perforated to embody the idea of freedom and openness of the country’s boundaries to foreigners. Exhibition inside showed some interesting information about the percentage of foreigners in bigger western and eastern german cities and juicy photographs of the informality of their traditional rituals in the context of a formal german system. The idea was to show the country’s current progress of dealing with migration, refugees and their integration into german society, and ongoing solutions and improvements in developing a society of big communal differences. As the title of exhibition says ‘’Making Heimat’’ or making a feeling of home is the hardest and biggest task. FRENCH pavilion ‘’The french pavilion is represented with the most french taste and smell. Glass and steel, zenit window, dark and bright rooms. Classical combination of what we associate France with, fullfilled with dignity and humor about themselves their own lifestyle. The problems they are refering to are found in a field where they can not splendidly spend rsources over necessity. Private houses, playgrounds, hospitals. This very self-confident and respectful country does not want to scream about any problems, but nicely presents some small defects of the system’’, said our reporter Ksenija, a big fan of France.
