CATHEDRAL CHOIR OF BOYS

———————————————————————————————

THE CATHEDRAL CHORISTER PROGRAM Trinity’s CATHEDRAL CHORISTER PROGRAM is one of only a few of its kind in the United States. It gives a special opportunity to children throughout the Columbia area to sing great works of art and to receive an advanced education in a supportive environment. Children learn professional musical skills including music theory and sight-reading, and receive private lessons in singing. They sing in major concerts with orchestra, in recordings, and on tours throughout the United States and abroad. They learn skills that last a lifetime: citizenship, leadership, focus, teamwork, patience, and self-discipline. The Cathedral Chorister Program is open to all children, regardless of church affiliation or background. Previous musical training is not expected, and there are no fees. Incoming choristers should demonstrate a bright mind, a good ear, and a desire to excel. We are always delighted to meet with prospective choristers and their parents. To learn more about the chorister program, or to schedule a visit, contact the Acting Director of Music at any time:

As a CATHEDRAL CHORISTER, you’ll share the bonds of teamwork and fellowship, education and travel, as you perform great works of music in national and international venues. You’ll work hard, you’ll play hard. Most of all, you’ll experience the rewards of a world-class musical education that will always be yours. Consider becoming a member of this talented choir. ——————————————————————
