Last summer, Trinity’s Carpenter Gymnasium underwent a massive renovation and emerged with a million dollar makeover. The gym was divided in half to house both a new, collaborative visual arts studio, and a music department that includes a rehearsal hall, digital music studio, recording booth, control room and offices.

The new visual arts studio, named for donor Joan Wilton and her late husband, Somers, includes a spacious studio that houses painting, drawing, sculpture and ceramics workspaces. The entire facility is now known as the Perkinson Arts Center.
