HONOR CHAPEL

SPINACH HARVEST

In August, the Honor Committee held sessions during orientation for students to sign Trinity’s Honor Code. Due to the COVID-19 protocols, this was essentially a modified version of Trinity’s annual Honor Chapel, a beloved Trinity tradition.

In October, students in Mrs. Phillips’ IB Bio class harvested spinach in their plots for a lab project. Each group explored a different variable fertilizer type or amount, depth of seed planting, type of seed (spinach compared to other leafy greens) and distance between seeds.

MR. SHORT’S OUTDOOR OFFICE In the fall, Head of School Rob Short moved his office to Dunn Courtyard to enjoy the fall weather and be more accessible to students and faculty.

CRAWFISH ON CAMPUS Students in the 9th grade Science Research class spent an afternoon exploring the creek near campus to find and identify creatures that live there. The first haul they pulled up contained huge crawfish!
