AROUND THE
COURTYARD UP THE RIVER The eighth grade class paddled up the river and through to the woods in September. On their trip, they practiced identifying animal tracks, tried the native pawpaw fruit and learned about the life cycle of the Dobson fly. Students returned to campus eager to share about how they grew outside of the comfort zone.
A SPECIAL RACE For the 10th year in a row, Trinity hosted a Special Olympics of Virginia one-mile race last fall. The cross country teams ran alongside the athletes and the field hockey team created posters and cheered on the runners from the stands.
ART AND HISTORY IB history students took a trip to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) in September to see the Faberge and Russian decorative arts collection.
SURF’S UP As the summer wound down, the Outdoor Program traveled to Virginia Beach for some waterfront camping and a day of surfing.
A TRADITION OF HONOR At the beginning of the school year, faculty and students took part in the annual Honor Chapel. Student leaders took time to emphasize what constitutes a violation of Trinity’s Honor Code, and as students leave, each one signs the Honor Code.
