Detailed Stats from Titans for Titans Giving Day: May 27 was certainly one for the Titan record books. Alumni came out in force during Trinity’s first ever Giving Day to increase financial support for families who are currently in need. With 157 total gifts and $18,051 raised, Titan alumni surpassed both goals for the day before 6 p.m! Alumni were able to see progress towards the goal in real time on a Giving Day webpage, which added to the excitement and competitive spirit throughout the day. “Our alumni time and time again step up to show their support for the Titan community. These gifts were especially meaningful given the unexpected and difficult end to the school year for our students, particularly our seniors,” shared director of development, Anne Hurt. Eight alumni ambassadors were integral to the success of the day. They rallied their classmates, shared videos on social media and personally made a gift in support of their alma mater and current students. “We support our alma mater because we appreciate everything Trinity gave us, we stand with Trinity’s core values and we believe in Trinity’s future. And in terms of gift giving, we always want to be #1!”, shared Chris Ellis ’81 whose class had the most gifts during Giving Day this year. YOU did it, Titans! Together we can accomplish amazing things. Thank you for always supporting, believing and caring. Now let’s do it again May 26, 2021!
