performance. This year, our primary objective was to better prepare our students for their practical exams and to improve their overall practical mark. Following considerable discussion and planning, students were able to also use netball as their preferred practical sport. This proved very popular amongst our athletic students who were fortunate to benefit from the teaching of Miss Adelaide Garland and external coaching from Ms Jess Anstiss. Students again benefited from completing practical exams in both semesters, which, as well as facilitating a competitive environment with other PSA schools, were designed to directly imitate their external practical exams
TRINITY COLLEGE ANNUAL 2018
A key target for all three classes was to emulate the excellent results recorded by students in 2017. In the Year 12 ATAR PES exam, the Year 12 cohort attained results 12% above the state average for their mean scaled score, which is a superb achievement and mirrored the impressive results from previous years. Ten students from the group of 45 achieved an excellent rating (score above 75%), representing 22% of our school cohort studying Physical Education Studies at Year 12 ATAR level. Statistically, these results are of the highest order and prove again that the College is setting a great example in the subject.
