FOUR BLUE

We were very fortunate this year because we had so many parents who happily volunteered to help in so many ways. Our extension programme was a great success. Special thanks to Mrs. Debbie Laird who took the boys for Theatre Sports. It was very popular with the boys and they looked forward to her taking the classes.

Gordon Dean.

The best thing about coming to Trinity was making new friends. I enjoyed the sport, cross-country and the swimming carnival. Our Visit to the zoo was fun because we saw most of the animals. My favourite animal was the Cheetah.

Reynton Laird.

Ienjoyed our visit to the Maritime Museum. It is the best museum that I’ve been to!

Lachlan Sinclair.

My Communion Day was a lot of fun. We received Jesus for the first time in Holy Communion. It was a very special occasion.

Jonathon Fiore

Communion is one of the sacraments. It is a great Sacrament because you become closer to God.

Jack Mackintosh.

The best things about Trinity are my friends and the cool teachers.

Aaron Dominsh.

My First Holy Communion was a great experience because I carried the Bible in the Gospel procession. Before we made our communion, we went to the Schoenstatt Shrine in Armadale. We made a special Communion candle.

Andrea Rispoli.

The best thing about Trinity is working and being together. Mr. Hamer taught us Sport and Science and we did many fun experiments.

Mark Wong.

Ilove the Chapel at Trinity because it is nice. The canteen was also a real treat because we did not have one at my old school.

Thomas Power.

FOUR GREEN

The theme for Term One was “Splash”, about the sea, Sailing Ships, Sea monster and Sea life.

On 10 March, we went to the new Maritime Museum in Fremantle. I learnt about Ships, quarantine, trade, fishing, submarines and heaps more. We went on a rowing machine too. The new theme in Term Two was “Big and Beastie”. It was about big things like dinosaurs and buildings. Westarted to do Four Roles of the Reader. Each person in a group of four has a responsibility: an Investigator, Code Breaker, Illustrator and a Discussion Manager. It is a fun activity. Wewent to the Zoo too. We visited heaps of animals. Wewent to the Nocturnal House. It was very strange to look in the animals’ eyes. I was in an Interschool chess team. We were undefeated until Wesley beat us. We won the interschool trophy and that was the second time in a row.

Brian Cheung.

Term Three, we did lots of great and fun things with Ms Freedman and helpers. Extension is fabulous we all love it. While some learn music, others are great dancers in BIG and the rest of us made bead jewellery and parachutes. The music group called Nova Ensemble made their own instruments: the Digeriloo and the Talking Drum. We saw Barking Gecko’s Ghost Train. The performers were friendly and answered all our questions. In Book Week Mrs Wyatt turned our “good as gold” library into a sea of great work for all the kids to see. We saw the Taipie Youth Group. They performed dancing and juggling and gave away free gifts. They were very talented and skilled and we really enjoyed them. Trinity boys are not only friendly but skilled. BIG and the chorale group were in the Performing Arts Festival as were other boys who played various instruments. The atmosphere was exciting and it was a great experience for everyone. I liked going to the Life Education van. We did some fabulous activities, it was great. Totop off a fantastic term, we went on a “Big Walk” to Burswood Park. We had a great time. We had a picnic lunch and played football, cricket and soccer. It was the best. Thanks to our teachers and parents for coming along.
