Life Redefined Sarah:

I used to be in the position where career, prominence and money were my priority in life, and unfortunately when I was there I wouldn’t really listen to wellmeaning advice. Serving God was something really challenging, because the apparent success in my earthly life was hindering me to do that. But life is not just about your career or how much money you earn. One sermon that still speaks to me now is about leaving a lasting legacy - how do you want someone to remember you at your funeral? Do you want the person to only speak about what a great achiever you were – how much money you made? Or do you want to be remembered for how you impacted someone’s life for the better? I choose the latter. You don’t want something to happen to you before you stop and take a second look and re-adjust. You need to know that God is really the center of your life and you need to trust Him to lead you.

Eugene:

Looking back at the past seven to nine years, my main regret was failing to serve God in my true capacity. Don’t be like me. When you pursue a career, you’re pursuing things that the world puts in front of you. You think they will satisfy you. They never will. You do not need to be successful in your career before you can serve God. God is a God of plenty. He will provide for your needs when you seek Him first. So, from the start of your career to eventually reaching this realization, how much time would you have wasted not serving God but chasing after a worldly career? It is one thing to know God. It is another to pursue Him. It is difficult to make the decision to run after God’s purpose. So we ask God to convict us.You really have to trust God, and seek God for that purpose when He has for your life. Trust Him to bring that into fulfillment. T

Section Leader Edwin Ho shares about the couple’s transformation: Eugene and Sarah were successful and very busy people. It took months since the first contact before they joined LIFE carecell. Now, Eugene is a model in praying and seeking God daily despite his busy career. He has relentless belief in the carecell members, going all out to encourage them when they face difficulties in life. Sarah is now a woman with audacious fervor and is committed to encourage many in the carecell. It is really heartening to see the both of them availing themselves to serve various ones in the carecell. Both Eugene and Sarah are growing a lasting legacy with their lives. The carecell has seen many spiritual babies growing strong in their faith due to both of them stepping out in faith to serve. If you want to know this God, take this moment to say this prayer. “Dear God, please forgive me of all my sins. I believe Jesus died on the cross for me and rose again. Please come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.” If you have said this prayer, we would like to help you to know God more.
