Trinitarian Magazine Issue 3/2011

We’ve Got Mail! Star Letter

The Trinitarian has very practical life references and the testimonies are inspirational. My favourite article in the last issue is Defying the Odds, where Jason and Kit Yee, parents of a child with dyslexia, trusted God to turn the situation around. I also find the article Connecting with Your Children very relevant for Singaporean parents. Due to work stress and peer pressure, most of us unknowingly assert pressure on our kids. For instance, instead of asking them, “Did you enjoy school today?”, my first question when I see them would often be “Have you finished your homework”? The article hence helped me, as a parent to self-reflect, and determine if what I have been doing was right or wrong. It was a timely reminder to spend quality time with my children, in order to understand their emotional needs better. Jazreel Ngan, internal audit executive .......................................................... The latest issue is smaller in size — the right size. It’s handier, easier to carry around, and not too heavy. I can sit back and enjoy this issue anytime, anywhere. The design and layout continues to carry the same simplicity, clarity and boldness that you guys do so well. We are all blessed to have such opportunities to hear personal stories and sharing from Trinitarians. Samuel Ng, executive director I have always looked forward to receiving the newest issue of Trinitarian. Each time when I read the testimonies and teachings, I am reminded of God’s goodness and faithfulness. Trinity is very blessed to be able to publish such a magazine. I have been passing copies of it on to my colleagues and friends! Tang Peng Peng, assistant director I could best relate to the article Not Married but Holidaying Together and have learnt important truths from it. I also like the fact that the magazine is downloadable from the web! Sylvia Kho, private school student
