Pastor Dominic Yeo In this Decade of Expansion, God is calling Trinity to start new ministries, reach out to new people, begin new associations and collaborations, and make a new impact for His Kingdom. Every move towards expansion requires us to step out in faith. Following Pastor Dominic’s call to establish new communities of faith, four ministers and 80 members would embark on a new adventure with God as part of Trinity’s first church plant. Its first base of operations will be in Trinity@Lavender – a property now set aside for all future church plants.
Led by Pastor Sabrina Chow, the vision and values of Risen Christian Assembly (RCA) was birthed from a season of praying, fasting, and prophetic journaling. While separate and distinct, the DNA of Trinity lives on through RCA’s pioneering spirit, with its emphasis on community life, and a commitment to evangelism. For two months, every Risenite worked tirelessly to get RCA ready. We gave our time, talents, and treasures, and each of us took on at least three roles in this fledgling community. When RCA finally opened its doors for the inaugural service on August 5, it was a time of great celebration. In this atmosphere of excitement and expectancy, 250 people filled the Sanctuary, eager to see what God had in store for this new church. Led by a worship team and choir, service started with songs of praise. “Jesus be the centre of our church,” the congregation declared as God’s presence filled the room.
