Chaos dominated a nightclub in Brazil last Sunday as 235 people died and another 169 were injured early in the morning in a massive nightclub fire in Santa Maria, Brazil. Although the cause of the fire is still under investigation, Brazilian investigators believe that the fire was started due to the use of flares within the nightclub during a band’s performance. This tragedy is the second worst fire disaster in the history of Brazil, behind a 1961 fire that killed 503 people. cbs.com
