NewCareerMentoringProgram -NeedAlumniVolunteers
Recently, the Alumni Board approved an Alumni mentoring program, and we are now in the start-up phase of this exciting new program. Being a STEM fraternity with over 100 years on campus, our Alumni base is uniquely positioned We have about 1500 living Alumni with thousands of years of career experience in the professions our new graduates will begin. Our potential to mentor, guide, and connect professional networks for the career development of these young men is beyond comparison We believe this program could become a tremendous competitive advantage in the future for recruiting new members and the overall brand image of Purdue Triangle!
We will start slowly with the 2023 graduating class, but over time, this program is envisioned to provide better networking and mentorships for all Purdue Triangle Alumni at any career stage. Regardless of your major, career path, or years of experience, I am confident that, once the program is fully implemented, you will be able to find multiple Alumni in the program to enhance both your career and personal life through mentoring and network connections.
Everyone has valuable experiences to share, from a recent graduate to a retired Alumnus. This is your opportunity to reconnect to Triangle and make a real difference in a Brother’s life and the Chapter’s success We recently sent an email to initiate interest and seek additional information from Alumni willing to participate in this exciting new program. If you did not receive this email or have questions, please email Zarrell Gray at: zgray1@me.com.

The Purdue Triangle Racing Team will participate in the 66th annual Purdue Grand Prix race on Saturday, April 22

The Team has been working hard to qualify two karts for this year’s race We have taken 3rd place several times in the past few years and have a great chance to do well again this year! Alumni and fans of racing are invited to join us in West Lafayette to support the Team and the Active Chapter; we are planning two great events to make the weekend fun and memorable:
Friday, April 21, from 6 to 8 pm, join Alumni and their guests gathering on the patio at Bru Burger, located across the Wabash at 101 Main Street, Suite 100, Lafayette, IN. Bru Burger offers a full food and drink menu, including options for kids. The Board will provide appetizers at this family-friendly event to get the fun started.
Saturday, April 22, the Alumni Board will sponsor a cookout on the Triangle porch. Families and other guests are welcome to join in the prerace festivities. Drinks will be on ice at 10 am, with grilled food served from 11 am to noon. This will be a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and get to know some of the Active Chapter members! The race will start at 2:30 pm with pre-race activities at the track, about 2 miles from the Chapter House. More details will be emailed to Alumni.
The Team would certainly appreciate all donations if you would like to support the Purdue Triangle Race Team. To date, they have raised only $500 of their $25K target, so please help them if you can.
