TAA Welcomes New Team Members

Sydney George joined the TAA Staff, on December 13, as our Administrative Coordinator! Sydney started with TAA through a staffing agency at the end of September and very quickly became an integral part of our team. Talk about jumping in wherever needed – she certainly did that and continues to do so! In her role with TAA she will be responsible for coordinating the administrative functions of the office to include processing member orders, ordering office supplies and keeping items stocked, and most importantly, serving as the first point of contact for members. So, when you come to the office or call us, Sydney will most likely be the first team member with whom you speak. Other duties include assisting with membership database entry, promoting and overseeing the use of our rental spaces, and providing administrative support to the team. And Sydney will serve as the staff liaison for the XCEL Committee. Sydney is a 2020 graduate of NC State University with a B.S. in Business Administration. Her work experience includes being an office assistant with the Pinnacle Appraisal Group and serving as hostess at two local restaurants.

Lily Mather joined the TAA Staff, on September 27, as our part-time Accounting Coordinator. Lily previously worked part-time at a CPA firm as an Accounting Intern and tax preparer. She has also served as Librarian, Leasing Agent, Sales Associate and Staff Accountant in her previous roles. She has obtained several certifications in accounting including an Associates in Applied Science in Accounting & Finance, an Income Sydney George Tax Preparer Certificate, and an Accounting Software Certificate. Along with her experience, Lily speaks three languages, English, Russian and Ukrainian. She is excited about this opportunity and looks forward to putting her previous education and experience to use in this position. Her hours are Monday – Friday, 10am – 3pm. Please join us in welcoming them both to the team!
