On Thursday, February 24, the Triangle Apartment Association Education Foundation (TAAEF) celebrated their 10th anniversary in the beautiful Shellbrook Apartments Clubhouse (Drucker + Falk) in Raleigh.
Over the past 10 years, TAAEF has awarded over 60 scholarships to an incredibly talented group of TAA members, and close to $55,000 in awards presented.
• 90% of scholarships have been awarded to owner/operators • 10% have been awarded to suppliers • 87% have been full scholarships • 13% partial scholarships • 71% of recipients are still in the industry locally and are TAA members
During the anniversary celebration, every scholarship recipient was recognized and awarded a certificate. There was also a special recognition to Suzanne Pratt, TAA’s Director of Professional Development, for her tireless service and support to the Foundation for the past 10 years.
