Wheelchair Treadmill
Similar to bicycle training rollers, the user backs up in the wheelchair up the ramp, and positions the back wheel in the middle of the rollers, then locks the front wheels into place. There is a brake lever on the user’s right that locks the front roller and allows access and exit from the rollers. He/she uses the same pushing/pulling motion to propel a wheelchair. Popular for rehabilitation and for people who are learning how to use a wheelchair. The treadmill can also be used for an intense cardio workout.
