The new degree leverages Trent’s interdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning as students pick a focus in a discipline of their choosing. For example, a student interested in health data might choose courses in sociology, or someone interested in the world of finance can choose business or economics courses. Students will also put learning into practice as they propose, develop, implement and evaluate a data science solution from real-world datasets. Learn more at trentu.ca/futurestudents/datascience
