THE TRENT FUND

Benefitting Every Student, Every Day

FLEXIBLE. MEANINGFUL. POWERFUL. Trent Fund Club members and donors get it. It’s an unpredictable world and supporting student success needs a fund with flexibility. In the past year, this extraordinary fund has met emerging needs in real time whether it was helping students affected by the conflict in Ukraine, providing emergency housing assistance throughout a pandemic, or providing on-campus jobs in the face of skyrocketing inflation. Trent Fund donations aren’t restricted to one area—the fund is fluid, supporting students exactly when they need it and where they need it.

On-Campus Employment – This year the Trent Fund provided its largest allocation to much needed oncampus employment and experiential working opportunities for domestic and international students at both the Peterborough and Durham GTA campuses. Emergency Student Housing – The Trent Fund provided financial support for students with unexpected, unforeseen, and unavoidable emergency housing costs surrounding situations such as accidents, illness, homelessness, fire damage and the need for short-term temporary housing.
