No Santuário dos Burros, como o nome já indica, o personagem principal são os burrinhos – ali estão aproximadamente 90 animais ameaçados de extinção. O edifício exibe uma exposição sobre a ilha e conta com acervo interativo, espaços voltados à cultura ameríndia e descobertas arqueológicas encontradas na região.

Localizado no centro da ilha, é uma reserva natural repleta de trilhas, animais selvagens e formações geológicas – inclusive, dá para alugar um veículo 4x4 e explorar toda a extensão do parque, que tem piscinas naturais e até praias escondidas.

At this place, the best part is that visitors can interact with these lovely animals by feeding them. If your passenger is interested in History, do not forget to recommend a visit to the Archaeological Museum of Aruba, where Boy Ecury lived, Aruban citizen that became a local hero for making part of the resistance during the World War II. The place shows an exhibition of the island and counts on an interactive collection, rooms dedicated to the Amerindian culture and archaeological findings discovered in the region.
