Aberdeen charity launches drive to change lives of local school children

Lifestars, an Aberdeen-based charity which provides vital opportunities for children to learn life skills has unveiled an ambitious project to give a group of city primary school pupils the trip of a lifetime.

The Lifestars project was created at Dyce Academy by Neve McPherson in 2016 and encourages senior pupils to become activity leaders. Now,

Neve has set her sights on raising funds to take more than 40 P7 pupils from the city’s Hanover Street Primary School on a residential trip to Perthshire in June 2023. Shortlisted for Unsung Hero Award

A North-east Cyber Security Officer is a finalist in this year’s Scotland IS Digital Technology Awards. Robbie Ross, CSO for Converged Communication Solutions, has been shortlisted in the Unsung Hero category of the Awards.
