The Archie Foundation seeks fundraisers with a head for heights

A local children’s charity is calling for brave individuals with a head for heights to take part in a special fundraising abseil down an Aberdeen landmark. The Archie Foundation, based at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, organise an annual abseil challenge, and this year’s event will see participants descend The Kings Church Tower - previously the AECC Tower.

The event takes place on Saturday July 29. All money raised will go directly to support local children and their families in the North-east of Scotland. All participants must be older than 16 years old, and will receive a charity t-shirt to wear and a goodie bag on the day. The sign-up fee is £25 and the charity is asking participants to raise a minimum of £100. For further information on how to sign up visit, archie.org
