Single piece High Speed tooling. Range comprises of tools for the window industry and for softwood. Cutters are designed to plunge and machine or mill lateral slots. Other tools are designed to drill, mill, and countersink slots in both plastic and non-ferrous metal. All aluminium tooling should be used with a coolant, wax stick or lubricant. Material should be securely clamped.
Plunge Slotting/Routing Single Flute Helical for drilling and slotting, cutting aluminium anodised duralium and uPVC plastic. Ideal for recessing and slotting extrusions. HSSE is a special grade for machining the most abrasive anodised finishes. Ref. 50/08

High Speed Steel Cutters These are made from a single piece of High Speed Steel, ground with a very fine edge. They are only suitable for non-abrasive materials, but will give a superior finish in soft timbers. Generally HSS cutters are slightly less expensive than their TC grades, but can be more suitable for certain applications. Applications: Routing non-abrasive natural timbers and plastics.
Super High Speed Steel Cutters This is a specially developed grade of High Speed Steel, precision ground to the highest tolerances. HSSE grade cutters are used for specialised applications, typically in the window industry for machining aluminium and uPVC extrusions. Tungsten Carbide Tipped Cutters This grade of cutter has Tungsten Carbide Tips brazed onto a steel body and is designed to cut the most abrasive materials.
Solid Tungsten Carbide Cutters These are turned, milled and ground from a solid piece of Tungsten Carbide and provide the greatest durability when used under stress load conditions.

Refs. 50/15 to 50/23 & 50/52 have narrow necks for deep entry into second web of extrusions. Refs. 50/27, 50/30 & 50/31 have a single flute helical with normal necks, but long shanks for water slot.
