transcription puppy - Goals to Implement Into Your Business Strategy Whether you own your own business, are an author, freelance writer, or work at a nine - to - five job each day, there are certain general rules that you should always keep at the top of your "to do" list if you expect to succeed at your goals. You've probably heard the saying, the customer is always right. Now that doesn't mean that a customer should be able to walk all over you and treat you like a doormat; however, one of your daily goals should be to always treat your customers or clients like they are your only customers or clients. Learn how to interact with them in a way which makes them feel special so that they know you want to always do right by them and not cheat or mistreat them. Even if you work at home, another one of your goals should be to treat your job or business with the respect that it deserves. Realize that your business or job will run only as well as the amount of time you put into it. However, one of your goals in learning to respect your business should also be to respect yourself. Be in charge of your business and don't let your business overrun your life and be in charge of you. You should create great goals for success, but remember that life with your family and friends is always more important than your work or your business. These days, with the way politicians in Washington are spending more money than they take in, it's easy for us to have goals gone haywire and we become misguided and start spending on credit.

Sure, when you are starting out in business, you may need a loan or line of credit; however, it's highly important that another one of your goals needs to be that your business becomes self-sufficient and productive. If you are spending more money than you're making, then you need to re-evaluate your goals and business practices and see where changes can be made. Make it one of your other goals to always surround yourself with like-minded people. Yes, you need to step outside the box and mix and mingle with others of a different perspective; however, these goals apply to whether you want to be encouraged or discouraged by others. If you truly believe in your business or work and know deep inside your soul that your goals are worthy of your time and effort-than you owe yourself the time to find encouragers to surround you. Don't listen to the naysayers. Find a group of business owners or entrepreneurs who have gone before you and learn from them... follow in their footsteps. Be teachable and willing to tailor your goals as needed. Another one of the goals that you should have is to keep your business reputation from being tarnished. Your reputation is the one thing you have that is so vitally precious and can so easily be tarnished and taken away from you. Make it one of your goals to keep practicing ethical work habits. Don't cheat your customers or clients. Keep your word. Don't make promises you can't keep. If you start doing illegal activities, that can spell the end of your business... you may think no one will find out, but the truth always comes out eventually. Goals are so vital to our lives. If you write out your goals, you are more likely to follow through with strong, disciplined actions to achieve success. Plan your immediate, short-term and long-term goals and write them out. With a strong work ethic, perseverance and daily discipline, you'll be able to achieve success and reach your goals.
