Ice Cold is a sire worth getting in on. Being a standout from birth, posting the heaviest weaning weight of the 2013 calf crop, topping the A-1 Red Label Bull Sale and then being the stoutest of the Rohrich’s herd bulls coming out of the breeding pasture positions him to be a sire of notability. Phenotypically he is stout, soggy made, strong topped, deep hearted with great bone and feet structure. Genetically he also combines a super strong pedigree being a direct son of Red Lazy MC Lookout 153X and Red Six Mile Lana 0917W , an amazing Sakic/Indeed daughter that has produced great progeny by three different sires. Red Lazy MC Lookout 153X is proving himself to be a sire that produces very high quality herd bulls and highly maternal, stout made females. Ice Cold’s dam, Red Six Mile Lana 0917W, now owned by Angus Oasis, GA raised the 2012 NAJRAE Grand Champion Bred and Owned bull and is the donor dam of the 2014 Texas State Fair Grand Champion Bred and Owned Female and the Grand Champion Junior Show Female at the same show, this female being a flush mate to Ice Cold. There are many benchmarks a bull has to meet to be worthy of using in an AI and ET program and Ice Cold is passing them with flying colors. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to buy into a sire with a strong genetic history, flexible pedigree, and striking, stout-made phenotype.

Perfect Storm was tragically lost way too early in his career. He certainly set the Red Angus world on fire when two daughters sold for $27,000 and $10,000 respectively in the 2012 Tree Lane production sale. Another daughter was a feature lot in the 2013 sale selling for $6,500. The Perfect Storm progeny have been extremely competitive at all levels with a heifer being named Res. Heifer calf Champion at the Houston Livestock show. Phenotype with calving ease and performance make the progeny very marketable. With less than 100 units of semen left in storage, chances to get Perfect Storm semen is getting more difficult.
