On behalf of the entire crew here at 74-51 Cattle Company, we would like to thank the many customers who have had faith in our program. Throughout the last 10 years, all of our customers have become more like family, and the memories made have been priceless. We would also like to thank the ranch owners, Ken and Darvin; they both share a passion for Willy Couch, center, with owners Ken Davidson and Darvin Knapp
being stewards of the land while maintaining the ranch way of life.
At this time, we have all agreed that it is time for the ranch to restructure. For us to complete our restructuring, we will be offering the entire registered herd as well as the majority of the commercial herd. We are excited to see what the future holds here at the ranch. We have around 100 embryo calves coming this spring and have stockpiled embryos from our best young females and proven donors prior to this sale to provide us a foundation to build back from. For the last 10 years, we have gathered and produced a set of Angus and SimAngus cattle that have not only proven themselves in our pastures and the pastures of our customers but also in the show ring on every level. We have built this program around the fact that you get Better Beef Through Better Genetics™. My dad, Bill Couch, has always said, “It’s easy…breed good cows to good bulls.” We have built our program around this belief and principle. This set of cattle is now offered to you to continue to raise champions both in the show ring and in your pasture.
