Bits n Pieces Mosaics: In-Person

Spend the evening in a fun and relaxing way by learning to create a beautiful piece of art using tesserae, stones, tile and glass. You even get to choose the image you want to work with. Just bring it to class and start the creative process. This class will teach you how to see shape, so you can form anything you'd like. You will start off with a clay pot or something similar to get a feel for working with clay. This class is perfect for beginners and those who want to relax with clay.

Color Theory with Oil: In-Person

If you think color theory is hard, think again! Through demonstrations and exercises, you'll learn how to work with oil paint and how to apply color that creates painting's full of textures and color. Designed for beginners and intermediate artists alike, the focus of this in-person class will be playing with oil color and having fun. This summer, not only will you create a literal work of art, you'll benefit in so many ways. According to Americareinfo.com, there are numerous benefits of art therapy for adults, including improved memory, cognitive function and mood, enhanced motor skills, greater self-expression and even pain relief. Bottom line is that creativity helps to put a healthy balance in our lives. Art lowers stress, lets you focus deeply and helps you imagine a more hopeful future. Just what we all need right now.
