Swimming, picnic shelter and facilities are available plus a playground, a handicap accessible boat ramp and loading dock. Birch Creek Park Take Highway M west of Holcombe to 250th St & travel north. Take 282nd Ave. east; the sign will be on the north side. Birch Creek Park offers camping, picnic facilities, volleyball, swimming and a boat ramp. Lake Holcombe Town Park 715-595-4803 Available is a boat landing, sandy beach, volleyball, picnic area and facilities.

STANLEY

Brunet Island State Park 715-239-6888 23125 255th St, Cornell. 69 campsites are available as well as showers, picnic areas, playground, athletic field, swimming beach, cross-country ski trails, and hiking and biking trails. This park is connected to the Old Abe State Trail via a one-mile bike trail link. Chippewa Moraine State Recreation Area 715-967-2800 13394 CTH M, New Auburn. This is one of nine units of the Ice Age National Scientific Reserve. Includes a visitors center, Ice Age National Scenic Trail, primitive camping, lake access and more. In 2012, the state of Wisconsin

purchased a more- than-500acre addition that will provide a unique mixture of opportunities for environmental education, scientific research and recreational prospects. The primary focus of this outstanding combination of wilderness lakes with premier shoreline is for the appreciation and enjoyment of nature. Lake Wissota State Park 715-382-4574 18127 CTH O, Chippewa Falls. 116 campsites with boating, swimming, picnicking and hiking available. Two group campsites for up to 80 people can be reserved for large-group camping. The park’s facilities are handicap accessible.
