Bizzy Girls Entrepreneur Ages 7 - 12 at Hommocks Ice Rink Community Room

Day: Thursdays (8 weeks)

Time: 4:00 - 5:30 pm

Dates: Session 1: September 14th - November 2nd

Make up November 9th

Session 2: January 11th - March 7th

Make up: March 14th

(No Program February 22nd)

Bizzy Girls-Start Your Own Biz. Calling all young entrepreneurs. Create a business doing what you love! A food business, slime, beauty products, jewelry ... it’s up to you. At Bizzy Girls, each student creates their own product, logo and signage. They learn biz skills, marketing, cost/profit, and sales. The program is project based, hands on, creative and fun. Students hold a pop-up store at the end of the session, learning to engage with customers, sell their products, and keep their earnings. Supplies for the products should be under $20. Students come to class the first day with their supplies. We look forward to working with our new entrepreneurs!

Babysitter’s Training Ages 11 - 14 at Hommocks Ice Rink Community Room

Day: Tuesday

Time: 3:30 - 6:00 pm

Dates: Session 1: November 7th & 14th

Session 2: January 23rd & 30th

Session 3: March 5th & 12th

Fee: Resident: $100 Nonresident: $120

This American Red Cross course is an interactive program that provides participants with hands-on learning experiences. Participants receive a Babysitter’s Guidebook and Certification if they meet the course requirements. This is excellent training for current babysitters and those wishing to start babysitting.
