Mail In Town of Mamaroneck Recreation Department 740 W. Boston Post Road Mamaroneck, NY 10543 ACCEPTABLE PROOF OF RESIDENCY

Two acceptable proofs of residency are required including (1) valid government issued photo ID such as a driver’s license, and either a current utility bill, rent receipt, lease, or check with an address imprint. PLEASE NOTE: Last year’s permit and library cards CANNOT BE USED as proof of residency. The Recreation Department reserves the right to reject any proof it deems questionable. MAIL IN

Send a completed program application form (downloaded from the Recreation Department website) with payment (check or money order) and a photo copy of two acceptable proofs of residency. • Individual payments are necessary for each program. • Please note that mail-in registration does not guarantee a space in a program. • An email receipt will be sent to confirm your registration. ONLINE

In order to register online you must establish an online account. Please allow 2 business days for new household accounts to be approved and activated. Residents must submit proof of residency before their account can be activated and receive residency status. • Go to www.townofmamaroneckny.org/recreation. • Click on red register online button to open the online portal. • Log into Household account or create an account. • Choose an Activity Type. • Add the program to the cart. • Choose the family member to register. • Answer any registration questions. • Continue to the shopping cart. • Checkout and choose payment option. Please note: All online transactions will be charged a non-refundable convenience fee. A 2.75% convenience fee is applied for MasterCard, Visa, Discover and debit cards. A 3.00% convenience fee is applied for American Express. 2

All programs have minimum and maximum capacities. Some programs may allow registration after the program has begun. Please note fees are not prorated. Programs are subject to change.

HOW TO WATCH A GOOD PROGRAM BE ELIMINATED

Nothing kills a recreation program faster than individuals who wait until the last minute to register. There is a point when a program must be cancelled or modified if there is insufficient registration. No one may participate without being registered. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY!

REFUND POLICY

• A full refund will be issued for any program cancelled by the Recreation Department. Requests for refunds or household credits will be considered by submitting a Refund Request Form to the Recreation Department at least (14) days prior to the program start date. A 10% administrative fee will be deducted. Requests received thirteen (13) to seven (7) days; a 50% refund will be given. No refunds will be granted less than seven (7) days prior to the program start date. • A request for a refund/household credit due to an injury must be submitted with a Refund Request Form and accompanied by a doctor’s note. Refund/household creditwill be prorated based on the date received by the Recreation Department less a 10% administrative fee. • Memberships and passes are Non-Refundable and Not Transferrable. • Skating lessons are Non-Refundable and Not Transferable. No refunds issued for skating lessons once registered. • Missed classes, activities, reservations or sessions of any kind (including due to COVID-19 and/or quarantining) cannot be transferred to another session, rescheduled, credited or refunded for any reason unless cancelled by the Recreation Department. Your registration guarantees you a space in the class regardless of your attendance. Note: Online registration convenience fees are non-refundable.

PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations will be announced through the Recreation Office by calling 914-381-7865. Make up dates apply ONLY to classes cancelled by the Recreation Department and NOT individual absences.

PROGRAM HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES

Our priority is the health and safety of the participants and staff in our programs. During the COVID-19 pandemic we will continue to take precautions and follow recommendations set by the CDC, state, and local guidelines. Please be aware that the current situation is fluid and guidelines are subject to change. Do not attend programs if you are experiencing any cold or flu like symptoms or if you have any signs or symptoms of COVID-19.
