Afternoon Tea at the Lumber Baron Inn
The Lumber Baron Inn’s Victorian parlors make the perfect setting for Denver’s newest tea house. Afternoon Tea is served the traditional English way, featuring a variety of fancy finger sandwiches alongside scones, crumpets and fresh cookies. Everything is baked fresh daily in house. Breckenridge Snow Sculptures
Breckenridge’s International Snow Sculpture Championships is a world-renowned snow sculpting competition where 16 teams of artists hand-carve 20-ton blocks of snow into enormous, intricate works of art. We will view the sculptures the week following the sculpting. Fee includes transportation and sculpture viewing. Lunch is on your own. Registration deadline is January 13.

Colorado Symphony Orchestra w/ Bela Fleck & Abigail Washburn

Snowshoe Adventure
Snowshoeing is a great way to see beautiful winter scenery and breathe the fresh mountain air! The Eldora Nordic Center has everything you need to go on your adventure; rental equipment, trail maps and friendly staff to support your snowshoe vision! Fee includes trail pass and transportation. Equipment rentals and lunch is on your own. Registration deadline is February 1.

The Wild Animal Sanctuary
The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a large outdoor facility in Keenesburg, CO. TWAS rescues animals and rehabilitates them so they can live and roam freely within large natural habitats with others of their own kind. Walk and see the animals from above. Chapungu Sculpture Park
Chapungu (Cha-POON-goo) is the name given to the monumental stone sculptures produced by the present-day Shona people in Zimbabwe, Africa. Wings Over the Rockies
With over fifty iconic aircraft and the most realistic flight simulators in Colorado, Wings Over the Rockies has something for everyone! After an introduction and viewing of an 8-minute film highlighting Colorado’s Aviation Endeavors, the docent will lead you on a tour of the museum. Fee includes transportation and tour. Digital Dome Show

Earth Day at Barr Lake State Park

Cookout at Lory State Park
Enjoy this staff cooked lunch at Lory State Park.
