Our valley of some 96 miles in length and 25 miles wide is nestled between
the Bitterroot Mountains on the west and the Sapphire Mountain range on the east. This natural setting creates a sublime year-round climate and has earned us the reputation as the “Banana Belt of Montana”.
The Bitterroot Valley Chamber of Commerce is comprised of seven distinct
communities with modest population of only 40,600 folks. Each community is unique and has its own story to tell. Join us as we present to you our communities, our culture, our way of life and the beautiful Bitterroot Valley.
